About us

P A Carruthers Plumbing & Heating was established in April 1994. In 2006 we became a limited company, P A Carruthers Limited. We cover a whole range of plumbing and commercial applications specialising in renewables. In 2006 we fitted our first ground source heat pump and we have since gone on to champion ground and air source heat pumps with the installation of air source heat pumps making up over 70% of all our current work.

We work closely with Vaillant who manufacture the class leading Arotherm plus air source heat pump, which is one of the quietest and most efficient air source heat pumps available on the market today, giving excellent scop values and being capable of getting the hot water to a temperature of more than 70 degrees.

We currently have four qualified plumbers working for the company with one apprentice learning and taking advantage of the wide variety of work that we cover.
